University Emergency Management Plans

The University has developed University Emergency Management Plans (UEMPs) that lay down the procedural framework on managing risks relating to the University’s operations. The purpose of each UEMP is to guide prompt and orderly actions under various aspects of the University’s routine operations. The document provides a clear and concise description of the chain of command, roles and responsibilities of the responsible action parties and procedures for emergency response, communication protocol, escalation and recovery of operations.

Specific UEMPs are developed to cover particular aspects of the University’s routine operation and are maintained by the designated Incident Management Teams (IMTs).
