University Guidelines on the Compliance of Law relating to the National Anthem, the National Flag and the National Emblem
Activities or events held within the University may involve raising/lowering of the national flag, the display of the national emblem and/or the playing and singing of the national anthem. It is the responsibility of the University and its community members to conduct themselves properly and to undertake such acts with dignity and respect and lawfully in accordance with the relevant law. The National Anthem Ordinance and National Flag and National Emblem Ordinance are now in effect. The University Guidelines on the Compliance of Law relating to the National Anthem, the National Flag and the National Emblem have been issued to introduce to you the legal requirements in these ordinances and to remind you of the responsibility to observe the relevant requirements whenever such acts are to be conducted in any properties owned and/or managed by the University and/or through or by the use of any resources of the University (including but not limited to its information technology systems and communication platforms).
